Art of the titles : Halloween

             During the presentation of Halloween, the amount of titles shown approximate to  30 - 35.The image that was prioritized was a pumpkin that was aging backward. This pumpkin was symbolic because the movie title is, Halloween . A carved out pumpkin is one tradition of it the image shown gives you a spooky feeling that makes it more suspenseful than it already due to the name of it. By adding a pumpkin that aged backward from being spoiled to be in good condition shows a reverse in events. As well as how the word were shown with the colors that pertain too that holiday, which are orange and red . It's reinforcing the acts of of the genre and  horror by just giving that great suspenseful and cringe with a sound that just gives you goosebumps . Every last detail played a part  to creating that horror film you could connect and show you that each part from the music to the lettering and backdrop.The type of way they used the titles and how they connected it to the movie.

Title Research : Final Destination

         In the viewing of the titles in Final destination it showed about twenty-two  titles. The images that were many prioritized  during the showing were pertaining towards skulls and blood using the mostly x-rays that showed the injury the person suffered. While watching the title the type of feeling given off was quite horror and thriller at the same time which appeals a lot to me.The fact that the type of music used wasn't so scary actually appealed as well.It has a lot of visual images that show and connect with the movie and show how a lot of people die.They tended yo use a lot of sound and little flashes of people dying and ways they could die. They used dark coloring like black and red to show a bloody scene. The timing as well played it a part it didn't show one slide for too long just long enough so you could have read it. Technology has been used effectively because it show the amount of definition used when shooting  those  scenes. They were shot from different C.A.M.S such as high angles and , pan , tracking shot , mid shot , close - up and etc.

Usually,  the final title is created after the research is complete so that the title accurately captures what has been done during the film.Titles play an important role in the marketing and even understanding of a film. Often the first piece of information that a viewer is given during a film . An effective title can convey a theme or tone before the audience even begins to watch a movie. When doing my title research I took a look at the website ,watchthetitles.com.  Throughout the website it showed a series of title sequence, designers and studios. Each part of the website plays a role because there are websites too.  While taking a look at what the site had to offer it had many examples and decipher them thorough whether it was movie or TV show or even what type of genre.The amount of effort placed in to each title shows the amount of information  you can retain through the title is quite unbelievable. Watch a the titles gave various examples of movies and how they match the genre and connect the movies.
